Elegant freestanding floor lamp produced by Pokrok company in Czechoslovakia in 1960s. Original label still attached. Pokrok was one of the companies that loved invetional and using new materials. Hence the combination of using plastic material (shield) with the metal base was untraditional. The shield has a plastic outer layer, but is wax-paper inside.
