Yes, some Poole pottery may be worth some money. In addition to age and style, the type and condition of a Poole piece will also contribute to its potential value. To find the estimated fair market value for your pottery, use the services of a certified appraiser or experienced antique dealer. Find a variety of Poole pottery on 1stDibs.
  • 1stDibs ExpertSeptember 23, 2024
One way to identify the age of Poole pottery is by using its markings. Poole changed its markings many times over the years, so by comparing the markings on your piece to those shared via trusted online resources, you can get a rough idea of its age. For example, a mark that features a dolphin sandwiched between the words "Poole" and "Pottery" centered inside a square-shaped border usually dates between 1955 and 1959. If you need help with the dating process, a certified appraiser or knowledgeable antique dealer can be of assistance. On 1stDibs, shop a selection of Poole pottery.
  • 1stDibs ExpertApril 5, 2022
