This 'Bark' collection mirror is a stunning blend of nature and craftsmanship, featuring sculptural tree bark fragments that have been handpicked from UK grounds for their unique textures and shapes. Each fragment is carefully molded and cast in bronze in the lost wax method, capturing the intricate details of the bark's natural form. After casting, the bronze pieces are skilfully welded and soldered together, following the designer's precise composition to create a seamless, eye-catching arrangement. The completed cast pieces are then attached to a sturdy bronze frame, resulting in a striking mirror that is both a functional piece and a work of art. Mirror Perfumer For a famous perfumer we designed several bespoke pieces such as a big bronze mirror for his showroom in Paris. The bronze frame is molded by hand, cast in oilsand and blackened afterwards. A polished bevel at the back reflects the light to the wall. The mirror itself is made to look antique. The antique mirror is availabel in several shades. Manufactured as made to order so slight variations will occur from piece to piece. Production marks may include slight pour ripples or surface pitting. They will arrive with a bright finish but will oxidise and darken over time to reveal a distinctive patina. Simply use a metal polish to restore a like-new finish. All pieces are numbered and signed at the back. Studio We make objects and interior. Our objects include furniture, accessories and contemporary collectible design pieces. We work with global brands or with private individuals on bespoke projects or on free projects. The act of making is vital to us. We make the most of our work in our studio or with professionals in their field which became friends and understand our way of work and thinking. The way of working depends on the project. It is never the same. We don´t have a fixed method, this means a continuously process of learning and extensions of our skills.
