In Orbit, is a playful look at ceiling lights, leaning heavily on a early 20th century expectation of space travel. This ceiling light ever entertains with three rockets orbiting the moon (respect is due here to Antoine de Saint-Exupery) whilst serving the purpose of lighting a room from 3 x bulbs. The ceiling rose is an additional small crater pitted planet. It is worth noting that this design can be hugely increased in size to suit the space it is being hung As with all of Sam Rush's space series, lamps are made with mixing stainless steel with brass. The differing properties of these dissimilar metals have a surprisingly pleasing effect, with the additional advantage of improving with age. The expectation is for all Sam Rush lamps...
