The defining design feature of KAIDAN – Japanese for ‘stairway’ – is the slightly tilted door and drawer fronts. These low- and sideboards come in various versions, finished in either real, matt-painted oak or walnut veneer, or with a fully lacquered finish. There is a range of matt and high-gloss colours to choose from. KAIDAN also comes in a variety of widths, with 2, 3 or 4 doors, or 3 or 4 drawers. It stands on a plinth. The interior can be fitted with loose shelves in the veneer or colour of the body, as well as interior drawers and shoe shelves...
