A lovely pair of Italian gold, rhinestone and lucite earrings by Italian fashion jewelry house Sharra Pagano. Each earring is gold plate and clip back. The top pieces has a single large rhinestone mounted in a round button setting .5 of an inch in diameter. Suspended from the button top is a .88 inch wide pendant of pear shape lucite accented with four vertical lines of rhinestones and a bottom gold cap. Each earring has a finished height of 2.5 inches. Although unsigned, the construction and type of clip used is purely Italian. The earrings were purchased in Italy with the original paper Sharra Pagano tag and look unworn and in very fine condition. Sharra Pagano, born in the late '60s in Milan, in conjunction with the establishment of Italian ready-to-wear fashion, is not a woman or a designer, but a concept that hides the identity of the two founders Ray Lino and Gianfranco Lords.
