1980s Italian Dark Green Satin Lacquer Chest of Drawers by Sormani
By Sormani, Davide Pizzigoni & Manolo De Giorgi
Located in Arosio, IT
Chest of drawers in very dark green lacquer (the famous 20-gloss silky mat lacquer of Sormani) with six spacious drawers: two in elegant salmon lacquer, standing out with a colorful touch and four in dark green. Please note the skillful shape of each drawer front: a triangular shape with a recessed, convex upper part. Roche Bobois France, Black display case/architect library “Architecte
By Roche Bobois
Located in Valladolid, ES
Unique and very refined display case or architect's bookcase from the renowned French firm Roche Bobois. It combines elegance with functionality thanks to its sophisticated and refined design. Its wooden structure follows a vertical, rectangular shape divided into two connected modules. It opens through four doors, two in the lower module and two in the upper one. Each door, like the sides, features partitions with large glass panels inserted to display the objects inside. The back features original wood paneling that gives the piece its personality.
Exclusive Piece with refined finishes balanced between solidity and lightness, perfect for sophisticated and modern spaces. It features six decorative panels that suggest the type of objects that could occupy each space, referring to terms specific to the discipline (esquisses, plans, echantillons, colorations, dossiers, and archives).
Roche Bobois is a French company that, since its founding in 1960, has been dedicated to marketing collections of high-end furniture, sofas, and other accessories. The company was born from the union of Philippe and François Roche, owners of a boutique in Paris, and Jean-Claude and Patrick Chouchan, then owners of the Au Beau Bois store. After meeting in 1960 at the Copenhagen fair, they began manufacturing and importing Scandinavian furniture to Paris. Thus, they began selling this furniture and other accessories such as textiles, tableware, and upholstery in their boutiques. They even dedicated a floor to renovation and decoration projects. thus giving birth to the famous Roche Bobois brand.
