Stefania Kaja-Bilanska, also known as Bilania, was a painter and poet. Kaja-Bilanska was the founder and leader of the group "Palette," which consisted of dozens of lovers of painting, who since the 1960s exhibited their works in various galleries in the city of Kraków, Poland, and also participated in the open-air painting exhibitions. The group had many artistic members, among whom were such outstanding artists as Ludwik Pindel, Jerzy Napieracz and Włodzimierz Karcz. These artists put on numerous workshops for other artists and selected the best works in making their choice for group shows. Palette had its proprietary commercial gallery on the streets of Kraków, Poland. Currently, the artists group "Pallets" continues the work begun by Palette.
