How to know if your Swarovski is real depends on the age of the piece. From 1991 onward, every Swarovski piece has featured a serial code. Some pieces produced between 1975 and 1990 also feature codes. The length and formatting of the codes have varied over the years, but you can check trusted online resources to determine if a code on a piece that you own is one that the Austrian maker has used in the past. If your piece lacks a code or you have doubts about its authenticity, a certified appraiser or other knowledgeable expert can assist you. Shop an assortment of Swarovski decorative objects on 1stDibs.

Whether you can wear Swarovski every day depends largely on the jewelry you prefer. Many people find that smaller rings, earrings, necklaces and bracelets are more comfortable and appropriate for daily wear than larger statement pieces, but you're free to choose what matches your personal style. Keep in mind that it's best to remove your jewelry before showering, applying cosmetics and skin care products, performing household chores, exercising or performing other activities that pose a risk for damage. On 1stDibs, shop an assortment of Swarovski jewelry.
