For the collectors of religious Art Deco plaques. This group of four bronzes depicting Christ are not the shiny plaques of Sylvain Norga that you may be used to seeing. It is because these have been outside for decades and the rare patina that this has created cannot be duplicated. This early 20th century collection could be perfect for a home or garden shrine. Two of these pieces (the large Art Deco crucifix and the plaque on the right in image 1) are marked by Norga. The smaller crucifix (on the left) is not marked, but we have seen a marked one by Norga in the past. The plaque in the right bottom corner is the only one we are not sure off, but because of the design and the fact that these all come from the same collector, convinces us that it too is by Norga. The two crucifixes are in very good condition and the two plaques are slightly bent and/or slightly dented. We know that there are collectors who prefer the antique patination, but polished these bronze religious plaques...
