Taking Root I - Original Boho Minimalist Textural Modern Floral Artwork
By Peter Kuttner
Located in Los Angeles, CA
The organic aesthetic and textures of Peter Kuttner’s original boho minimalist artworks are the result of patient layering and unique uses of media. Through a combination of collage and paint, Kuttner is able to find personal expression in the clear colors and contrasting soft textures he creates. This artwork is part of Kuttner's "Cut-Out" series where the artist uses a process, not unlike that of Matisse late in his career. The economy of design and the utilitarian simplicity therein allow for the creation of simple, archetypal pieces. This one-of-a-kind mixed media painting measures 24 inches square. It is wired and ready to hang. It is signed by the artist on the back and initialed on the front. The sides of this artwork are painted and it does not require framing. Convenient local Los Angeles delivery. Affordable Continental U.S. and international shipping are available. This artwork comes with a certificate of authenticity issued by the gallery. Kuttner’s artworks have been featured in Architectural Digest Magazine as well as in popular films and television shows including Two and a Half Men, Californication, and Nashville. Presently, Kuttner’s work is on display in a large number of private, royal, museum, and corporate collections worldwide. Artplex Gallery has been representing and exhibiting Kuttner's original artworks since 2021. The gallery has been a 1stdibs partner since 2014 with consistently excellent reviews from clients worldwide. My Home Town by Judith Williams contemporary collage abstract on canvas
By Judith Williams
Located in Atlanta, GA
"My torn paper shapes are put together like large remains of sculpture being reassembled. My initial thoughts are on pure shape. The unusual shapes coming together in their raw simplistic form, how they interact with each other, the shapes creating their own language. I let them stand alone in their purest form. The way they come together in the space helps ground them, giving a friction of sorts, a system, a world built around the forms, a quiet place within. I love large inviting spaces, as if to say, “Come here, I’m here to comfort you.” I am creating a space where you find a soothing uncluttered balance. I want you to like the stillness there. So every piece of work has a piece of me in it, my personality, my love of spaciousness and calm. I am totally aware of every aspect of the work and in the moment, concentrating on that one moment in time—the Now. It is my desire that the sense of peace, harmony, and stillness is communicated to you." Judith Williams...
