Art Deco Cubist Glass Floor Vase by Anatole Riecke, from La Coupole Brasserie

By A. Riecke

Located in Miami, FL

This monumental Art Deco floor vase by Anatole Riecke stands as a testament to the era's grandeur. Crafted from intricately etched [insert color here] glass, the surface explodes with a captivating interplay of geometric forms, a hallmark of the Cubist movement. Riecke's subtle signature and date, discreetly etched into the design, add a touch of historical significance to this impressive piece. Important Provenance: Part of the iconic Art Deco glass work at La Coupole Brasserie in Paris, a legendary haunt of artists and intellectuals during the 1920s and 30s, this vase offers a unique opportunity to own a piece of French artistic history. Imagine this beauty gracing the same space as Josephine Baker, Hemingway, Fitzgerald, and Picasso, who once frequented La Coupole. Standing at a striking 34.75 inches tall and 10.5 inches in diameter, this substantial vase makes a true statement piece. Its bold geometric design and rich artistic heritage make it a coveted addition for any serious collector. Pair this floor vase with the other Riecke piece that we have to offer, search our shop or send us a message to request photographs. In the same room they are even more striking. Purchase a part of French history. La Coupole was founded in 1927 and once a leading center of artistic life remains the epitome of the grand Paris brasserie...
