Tom Whitehead Art

1886-1959

Tom Whitehead was born in Leeds and died in Halifax in 1959. He studied at the Halifax School of Art and the Royal College of Art in Paris, France. In addition to printmaking primarily in etching, Whitehead, a member of the Society of Yorkshire Artists, also produced portraits and landscapes in oils, watercolor and pastel.
