Valentina Atkinson was born in 1955 in Mexico City. She studied industrial design at the Universidad Ibero-Americana in Mexico and textile design and communication arts at the University of San Francisco. Valentina also studied at the Glassell School of Art in Houston, Texas, where she continues to work and practice her art.
