Vito Pardo

Italian, 1872-1940

Vito Pardo was trained at the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice under the guidance of Antonio Dal Zòtto and later became a pupil of Giulio Monteverde in Rome. He was the author of numerous funerary works, portrait busts and in his maturity, of important celebratory monuments, including that of the Combattenti di Castelfidardo in the Marche (1912).
