Lovely and bright hillside landscape by William Horsbrugh-Porter RHA (Irish, 1905-1985). Several aspens and other trees are showing lovely fall foliage, nestled on the side of a rocky hill. This early work by Vignon was painted whilst he was under the tutelage of Camille Corot in the period between 1869 and 1870 .
