WRDSMTH Abstract Paintings
WRDSMTH is a published author, screenwriter, former advertising copywriter, and an emerging street artist. Born and raised in the Midwest, he relocated to LA and started doing time in Hollywood, chasing the dream like countless others. Past and present worlds merged when he came up with the concept for WRDSMTH — a unique combination of stenciling and wheat pasting — and began temporarily tattooing walls in LA with indelible thoughts and phrases. Active in the street art community since November 2013, he’s made his mark in Los Angeles, San Diego, New York, New Orleans, Philadelphia, London, Paris, and Edinburgh. He’s been featured in LA Weekly, LA Magazine, LAist, LA Canvas, and The Philadelphia Enquirer. He was named one of The Art of Elysium’s 2014 Emerging Artists and his work has been sold at The Gabba Gallery, Stone Malone Gallery, Voila Gallery, and LabArt.

John CRASH Matos is a true pioneer of the Graffiti movement. Crash was first noticed through his murals on subway cars and is now regarded as a pioneer of the Graffiti art movement.
This painting on canvas by Crash features a number of Super Hero symbols. Batman, Spiderman, The Flash, Fantastic 4, The Green Lantern, Superman, Robin and Captain America! The canvas measures 24x24"
His work is said to convey a "visual link between street life and established society". and in 1980, Crash curated the now iconic exhibition: "Graffiti Art Success for America" at Fashion MODA, launching the graffiti movement into a mainstream art movement.
In 1983, Crash was given his first major gallery showing at the legendary Sidney Janis Gallery in New York City. The first time a Graffiti artist ever exhibited at a major gallery, around the same time Keith Haring started showing at the Tony Shafrazi gallery, taking street art and graffiti art from the streets to a fine art gallery.
CRASH has been part of numerous museum and gallery shows around the world focusing on Graffiti and Street Art, and has works in many permanent museum collections.
