The brand Founded by designer and film director Amilcar Oliveira, am.o was born from his desire to create furniture the old-fashioned way, using traditional woodworking techniques passed down through three generations from father to son. Each piece is crafted by hand, one by one, by the designer himself, employing joinery techniques without the use of nails and screws – using only certified solid wood, glue, and a lot of passion.
