Christine Roland

Christine Roland is a Danish artist, who hand-builds objects and lamps. Every piece is carved, cut, rolled and bent by hand from stoneware and porcelain. Roland received her degree in Design from Universität Der Künste, Berlin in 2009. She lives and works between Berlin and Denmark. Roland's work has a direct purity and usefulness, while celebrating the raw nature of what ceramics are.
