Seven different danish furniture companies went into a collaboration - Domus Danica - in a very short period in the start of 1970. Tue Poulsen who was a well respected danish ceramist was given an assignment to come up with a line of modern furnitures which should be produced in fiberglass.
Tue Poulsen made a serie of fiberglass furnitures for the danish fair at Bella Center in Copenhagen and the serie consisted of a loungechair, a double loungechair, a chaiselongue, a sofa and a table. They were the eye-catchers of the fair and several of Tue Poulsen collegues mocked him with the space design he had created because at that time fiberglass was not a frowned material.
