I have realized that my paintings lean towards loneliness and an unsettling feeling about the end, of all things. I think that my own mortality is creeping into my work but also there is hope in my futuristic images, celestial ideas of immortality. I'm an optimistic person generally but the world is a worrisome place, the trauma in the mere existence of so many people, mostly women is a burden on my soul.
