In the words of the great Bob Dylan, “ the times they are a-changin”. Those words ring true today as they did in the 1960’s. Being a mature artist living in NYC, I see physical changes all around me. New skyscrapers are creating a new, NYC skyline. From Brooklyn to Queens & Manhattan to the Bronx, these immense, mirrored structures are populating everywhere. I have painted the New York of the 1980’s/90's. Those paintings are vastly different than the cityscape of today. My view of Manhattan, from a hill in Brooklyn, is now overshadowed by 20 new towers.
