A spectacular and extremely rare Nina Ricci Haute Couture evening dress, dating to the late 1940s–early 1950s. Crafted entirely by hand at 20 Rue des Capucines, Paris, this piece showcases the exceptional workmanship reserved only for couture clients. The interior features true mid-century couture construction: quilted lining, grosgrain support bands, and inner ribbons designed to secure the dress perfectly to the body.
The exterior is composed of dozens of individually sewn sheer organza tiers, creating fluid movement and a romantic, sculptural silhouette. The strapless bodice features soft cascading ruffles and closes with its original metal zipper. Fully lined and beautifully structured.
Condition: Very good for its age. Interior shows expected signs of wear consistent with 1940s–50s couture...
