About Jaime Rummerfield Interior Design
Jaime Rummerfield is a Los Angeles–based interior designer, tastemaker, and preservation advocate whose work is founded on a deep respect for architectural provenance. As Founder and Principal of her eponymous studio, she creates interiors that are cinematic yet intimate, informed by architecture with a personal character unique to each space.
Jaime’s portfolio spans some of Southern California’s most celebrated architecture, designing interiors for notable legacy properties including Greystone Mansion, The Beverly Hills Women’s Club, Richard Neutra’s Bonnet House, and private residences by Gordon Kauffman, Donald Wexler, and Myron Hunt. Her clients include Mark Wahlberg, Courtney Love, Tom Cruise, Christina Aguilera, Paul McCartney, John Travolta, Nick Cannon, and Bella Thorne — all of whom trust her to honor the history and architecture of a home while creating interiors that are uniquely tailored, contemporary, and richly layered. Her design vocabulary blends Old Hollywood glamour with modernist restraint and palpable opulence, using varied palettes and materiality to convey personality throughout each residential and hospitality space.
Beyond interiors, Jaime is a leading advocate for preserving Southern California’s architectural legacy as co-founder of Save Iconic Architecture. She has led campaigns to protect landmarks including the Standard Hotel on Sunset Boulevard, Richard Neutra’s Chuey House, and numerous residential estates, while championing education and awareness around historically significant architecture. She lectures widely on preservation, architectural integrity, and historically informed design, emphasizing that mindful design interventions strengthen a building’s story rather than erase it. Jaime is also publishing New California Classics in association with the Design Leadership Network, a volume created in response to California’s wildfire destruction that offers architectural guidance, case studies, and design standards for rebuilding historically sensitive homes and communities after natural disasters.
Jaime’s work has been featured in over 150 publications, including Architectural Digest, ELLE Décor, Veranda, and The Hollywood Reporter. Her accolades include the Design Leadership Award from the Design Leadership Network, Interior Designer of the Year from the ARTS Awards, Veranda’s “Next Legends,” The Hollywood Reporter’s Top 20 Interior Designers, and Phaidon’s global top 100 interior designers. She is also the author of Hi
