About Violet & George
Violet & George is a London-based interior design studio known for creating richly textured, highly personal interiors with a distinctive sense of character. At the heart of our work is a belief that thoughtful design — executed with precision and care — can transform the way a home is experienced. What sets us apart is our attention to the smallest details: the perfect stitch, the weight of a curtain, the play of light across a surface. Every choice is deliberate, every finish considered.
Founded in 2009 by Nicky Mudie, Violet & George brings together a background in textile design, a love of decorative arts, and over a decade of high-end residential design experience. Our interiors are tailored, layered and quietly luxurious — designed to feel timeless, personal and entirely lived-in.
We offer a full interior design and decoration service, including bespoke upholstery and soft furnishings from our Hampshire workshop, as well as fabric and colour consultancy, decorative schemes, spatial layouts and lighting design. Whether working on a single room or an entire home, we bring the same level of focus, creativity and craftsmanship to each project.
From our West London studio, we collaborate with a trusted network of artisans and makers to deliver interiors of exceptional quality — homes that are not only beautiful, but deeply attuned to the lives of those who live in them.
