A tall, vintage Mid-Century Modern American table lamp made of hand crafted polished brass, designed by Gerald Thurston and produced by Lightolier, in good condition. The desk light is composed with a round white-yellow linen shade and an acrylic diffuser, what blockes slightly the light of the three-way light socket. The lamp is supported by a colorful, faceted marble base. The wires have been renewed. Wear consistent with age and use, circa 1950, United States. Base: 1.25" H x 7.25" W x 7.25" D. Shade: 7.25" H x 17" diameter. Gerald Thurston was an American designer and artist, born in 1914, United States, the date and place of death are unknown.
