Made by Wedgwood in England in 1957 and fully and properly marked/stamped on base.
Marked: “Wedgwood, Made in England …. “P” … “B” ….. “1957”.
An early Wedgwood post 1950 piece.
3.5 inches tall lidded vanity box with a diameter of 5 inches.
Rolling vine and grape cameo reliefs, all over the lid and base sides.
Fabulous large pointed finial on the lid with floral cameo reliefs on the sides.
Exterior in an unglazed matte biscuit finish, but the interior of the box base, has a high gloss finish.
In very good original condition, save one minor repair to the inside of the base rim. Not very noticeable but reflected in the reduced pricing.
