In an exclusive collaboration, each hand-studded piece by artist Brian Stanziale (the bms.) was transformed from a provincial 19th century artifact into a one-of-a-kind work of art. Embellishing with silver and gold thumbtacks, the bms. Adds a contemporary twist to our storied objects, animating each surface with bold and provocative designs. Carved from the cylindrical form of a single bamboo segment, this 19th century headrest was originally used to preserve intricate hairstyles during sleep.
