The Lucky 8 was first introduced to the world on August 8, 2008 at the Olympic Games in China, where the number 8 represents the good luck and fortune. It is made of deep black cast resin with shimmering smoky gray ripples, making each feather totally unique. Its octagonal barrel is decorated with 23-carat gold-plated decorations, such as the arrow-shaped Parker clip and the wide cap band. The exceptional nib of the fountain pen is crafted in solid 18K gold engraved with retro arrow graphics and the original Parker logo from the 1920s. This is a very unusual lighter designed with wonderful geometric patterns and crafted in solid steel with a main spherical body similar to a billiard ball. Embellished with black and creme lacquer creating a great contrast with the polished steel. It is extremely well made and solid construction with very nice care and attention to all details.
