Early 18th century Swedish lemon squeezer in birch wood. These folk art items were made by farmers, usually during the winter, when it was dark outside and they had more time on their hands. These items rarely come up for auction in Sweden, and when they do they fetch up to $15,000. This particular lemon squeezer is interesting because of the detailed carvings.
