A pair of Tulipiere vases with each tulipiere made in four interconnecting pieces and painted in underglaze blue and white. The pattern is known as the Blue Onion Pattern. Each vase has twenty four openings for tulips or flowers opening to a hollow cavity for water.
Dimensions: 31 1/4 inches tall x 8 3/4 inches square base.

The vase is potted in globular form with a tightly pinched neck and rolled top rim beautifully decorated with four highly detailed individual panelled scenes.
