Antique Limestone Bench - Old Stone Bench - Garden Bench
Located in Costa Mesa, CA
This old Limestone bench was hand carved in the mid 17th century and installed in a Large Italian countryside home along with several other benches and architectural elements. This piece has been well preserved throughout the years and was recently reclaimed by our team. The natural stone aging process that took place throughout the years is quite apparent all throughout this lovely architectural element, giving it such an amazing distressed texture and color undertone. Centuries of sun, soil, rain and exposure to the elements of nature have given this piece its real character and wonderful patina.
This antique limestone bench...

Vintage Jack Cartwright bench with slate top and fabric seats
Located in Palm Springs, CA
A nicely designed bench for the hallway, office or end of a bed designed and produced bt the Jack Cartwright company. Based opn general styling I would place this bench in the late 1960's to mid 1970's. All of his work is custom designed and top of the line. A brief bio follows from his website; Our company's history...
Jack Cartwright is a graduate of the Kendall School of Design, Grand Rapids, Michigan. He is a recipient of many design awards in the US and Europe.
With the desire to design contemporary seating, Jack Cartwright started his company in May, 1963. He and a production specialist were the only employees. This desire to design valid seating products was the driving force behind the company. Mr. Cartwright's philosophy was "to provide the market with upholstered furniture of modern design, produced with exceptionally high quality standards and priced within the reach of many." That philosophy continues today.
The performance of the company exceeded the industry growth, indicating acceptance by the design community, distributors/dealers, and consumers. From two employees to over two hundred today, three facilities in North Carolina produce a variety of contemporary seating.
The headquarters and main facility are located in High Point, NC on 80 acres of old tobacco farmland in an environment conducive to creativity, design, and production. The company continues to design and market seating for use throughout the world. Cartwright is recognized as a leader in the industry. Cartwright designs, engineers, and manufactures an extensive line of contemporary upholstered seating for the contract market. In addition to seating, the company markets a large textile program. The in-house design department is directed by Jack Cartwright.
Developed over many years, Cartwright has a vertical production process -- frame plant...
