This one of one handmade sofa is handcrafted out of Douglas Fir and upholstered with a soft and comforting blue velvet. A couch is the epicenter of daily life, so when you buy a piece of furniture make sure that it reflects your originality and the ambiance you hope to create within your space. Beyond its artistry this piece also brings about a sense of practicality with its built in end tables. Furthermore, this piece offers beauty from any and every angle making it the perfect centerpiece for your home or lobby.
This piece was fabricated through an extensive subtractive carving process. Beginning with a blocky form comprised of 4x4s every remnant of its original form was carved away to reveal a beautiful organic form full of movement and lively curves. Finished with a bonelike color to bring about a sense of natural softness.
