Arno Declercq, born in 1994, is a Belgian designer and art dealer celebrated for his minimalist and functional furniture designs. His creations, meticulously crafted from natural materials like wood, leather, and stone, are designed to align seamlessly with contemporary and sustainable lifestyles while maintaining a distinctive character and essence.
Raised in a family deeply rooted in aesthetics and craftsmanship, Arno developed a profound appreciation for design and ambiance. His father, immersed in the Royal Academy of Arts' fashion department, instilled in him a keen eye for beauty, while his mother, who managed a boutique featuring avant-garde brands like Rick Owens, Ann Demeulemeester, and Maison Martin Margiela, nurtured his passion for innovative artistry.
Inspired by his upbringing, Arno pursued interior design studies before founding a gallery specializing in ethnographic art and design. Since 2017, he has focused on creating bespoke pieces, gaining recognition through strategic use of social media and collaborations. His collections draw inspiration from architectural bunkers, ancient art forms, and diverse tribal cultures, blending these influences with the grandeur of historical interiors.
Arno offers his collections in custom sizes and provides comprehensive interior decoration services. He has participated in benefit auctions and co-founded Baranzate Atelier, working with luxury brands such as Fendi, Saint Laurent, and Hennessy, as well as high-end hotels and restaurants.
In November 2023, Arno unveiled a private 500-square-meter showroom in the heart of Antwerp, Belgium. This exclusive space offers an immersive experience, showcasing his signature aesthetic and fostering deep connections with clients. Since its launch in February 2024, the showroom has hosted curated events featuring works by fellow artists, creating intimate experiences for a select audience.
