About the Item

Designed for Nome Manufacturing's debut, the original Stool No. 9 offers a unique seating expression. A sculptural exercise, this stool’s seat features a heavily carved and irregular profile. The soft curves and offset height base elements allow for a multitude of comfortable seating positions. Traditional joinery and solid tapered legs provide a sturdy base. Pictured here in American White Oak, dimensions 16” seat diameter x 24” high. Generally available in many domestic hardwoods and traditional or stained finishes. Standard selections include: White Oak (pictured here), Walnut, Cherry and Bleached or Blackened Ash. Please inquire for custom finishes or dimensions.
