These sexy, drippy, not-entirely-matching diamond earrings are crafted from bits and pieces of a frankly hideous 1950's two-tone diamond brooch we've had in the safe for about two thousand years.
The boss, Eytan Brandes, didn't like the pin (nor did the consuming public), but he liked elements of it -- specifically the white gold parts, which have a sort of dishabille quality. He melted most of the pin, but tore off several bits and pieces to make these fabulous earrings.
The diamonds are mostly single cuts of average quality (probably I color and SI1 clarity), all pavé-set in their own little coin...
