A good & substantial, antique carved oak three seat Gothic Revival, Pugin influenced church pew, choir stall, circa 1850.
The stall/bench/pew having three compartmented seats originally with lift up seat bases that have been fixed in place. The seat backs are carved with Gothic trefoils, each seat is separated with a curved partition surmounted with a short column topped with a Corinthian capital carved with stylised oak leaves.
The pew is very robustly made of solid English oak, the pew is very stable and can easily stand freely in a room or against a wall and will accomodate three sitters comfortably. The pew is in excellent condition and is ready to grace your home or business.
