This is a classic early 19th century Mahogany Butler's Tray-On-Stand. The single board mahogany tray is framed by a 3 inch mahogany gallery on three side and a lower galley on the fourth side. The tray is in overall good condition with indications of use and anticipated minor shrinkage. The dovetailed gallery has two handle cut-outs for easy carrying. The period folding stand is in good sturdy condition and has been fitted with newer strapping.
