130 WILLIAM

Apartment by Sarah Baderna Studio in New York, NY

When the call came in from our clients, it wasn't just about redecorating a space; it was a plea to infuse their home with warmth and character. Their apartment in the prestigious 130 William building developed by Ghanaian-British architect Sir David Adjaye, though sleek and modern, lacked the personal touch that transforms a house into a home.

As they expressed their desire to banish the sterile "white box" feeling that permeated the rooms, we knew this project would be a labor of love.

At Sarah Baderna Studio, our Italian roots are the foundation of our design philosophy, deeply connected to the rich heritage of Italian craftsmanship. It was only natural that we would draw upon this legacy to breathe life into the interiors of 130 William. Many pieces were sourced directly from Italy, each carrying a story of tradition and artistry, infusing the space with an unmistakable sense of elegance.
