Baxter Street

When our first client decided to move from an Upper West Side pre-war building to downtown Manhattan, she called on us to help with the apartment hunt. Together, we found a recently restored loft in the bustling neighborhood where Soho meets Chinatown. We added a whitewash to the oak floor to mute the yellow tone and designed a simple and raw built-in to hold coffee table books, vinyl albums and objets d’art. Expansive white walls provide a simple backdrop for the owner’s eclectic art and antique collections.
