In this New York City penthouse, Cochineal maximizes light with pared-down design. Mixing shapes and textures, we set rounded furniture legs atop a sharply-lined rug and placed woven seating opposite smooth wood and polished brass. Elegant details like headboard straps anchored with smart hardware are distinct but not distracting.
