Robert A.M. Stern Architects remodelled this building on the south side of Gramercy Park in Manhattan. We worked within the new classically designed space to create a family home for our client and their young adult children. We transformed architectural elements salvaged from the neighbourhood to bring a story of Manhattan to the interior; and paid homage to the 1930’s heritage through furnishings and accessories.
