A beautifully restored 1930's home with a mix of European and American antiques capture the elegance of the period while still creating an air of modern sophistication. Collected furnishings create a classic, interesting mix made for everyday life and graceful living. Casual, but chic seagrass rugs mix with velvets and linens, woven together to tell a beautiful, rich story about collecting what you love to create timeless, inspired interiors. Following the client's Southern American heritage and delight in ancestral antiques, conjured up images of a period of grandeur but still designed for a young family with modern needs. Whether gathered at the fireplace or having lessons at the piano, we sought to create rooms that bring together and welcome all members of this family as well as hosting a variety of social functions. A beautiful mix of casual and formal, light and dark rooms create a rich refined interior with a nod to classicism.
