Restaurant capacity: 10 people
By Uchronia
Inspired by the dimensions and shape of the small sandwich available at Petibon, the Uchronia studio has made it the modulor of this project. Ceiling lamp, counter or shelves of this first boutique of the brand thus replicate a rectangle 7 centimeters long in a tasty marriage of materials, know-how and colors.
With its undulating blind, the neo-Parisian facade imagined for Petibon recalls the leitmotiv of the collective, this «vague» motif that Uchronia likes to work so much. However, behind the deliciously regressive yellow, it is another shape, the rectangle, which combines and expresses itself, creating a link between the different elements. Inspired by the monoproduct work produced here, this monoform controls all the creative gestures of this shop. Illuminated sign and églomisé glass ceiling lamp by the artist Mieke Meijer, counter motifs in resin and Japanese copper sheets by Atelier Roma, composition of the built-in wall shelves, layout of the mirror ceiling and even cut-outs in the window, here, everything is rectangular. And made in Paris or France.
A subtle and poetic highlighting of the Petibon sandwich, for a pop-contemporary set with the grid - and the future - so well traced.
