Seadrift Beach Home

This seaside home perched on the dunes overlooking the Pacific Ocean belongs to empty nesters that wanted casual simplicity and comfort for their kids and future grandchildren. Lauren Nelson Design was tasked with rethinking the layout of key areas, updating the interior architecture and finishes, and furnishing the 3 bedroom home. The result is not daring nor extravagant, but instead it holds a quiet, comfortable luxury. The key foundation was the use of practical and natural materials that would age well in a marine environment, and that had a connection to the exterior surrounding—beach, ocean and mountains.
