Restaurant by Blackberry Farm Design in Walland, TN
Built around a restored 1950’s lookout tower on top of a mountain, this restaurant’s minimal and view-focused design allows the surrounding natural beauty to shine. Large iron doors and windows, and a color scheme that brings the outside in, keep the space seamlessly connected to the environment. Reclaimed barn wood, stone from the mountain and a cypress ceiling were chosen to reflect the surrounding backdrop and the restaurant’s roots. The black interior and chartreuse accents make the room disappear so guests feel like they are tucked into the mountain, part of the land, even inside.
