Upper West Side Duplex
Apartment by Dineen Architecture + Design PC in New York, NY
This duplex apartment was created from two apartments, each with three bedrooms. The central two-story area was created from the original kitchens and a steel, bronze, limestone and leather stair connects the two levels. Dark cerused oak and glass enclose the apartment's core, while the public areas flow unimpeded around.
The very simple bedroom has a super-plush carpet that is a riff on a Chanel bag. The Master Bath reprises the paneling of the first floor and adds glass tile.
The dining room has bronze and pony benches that complement the Charles Hollis Jones table.
