Victorian Era
For this project, Geremia sought inspiration from the neighborhood, the gardens, and the surrounding landscape. Nestled on top of a San Francisco hill, the property offered a lot to draw from. Through the use of vibrant colors and bold patterns and textures, Geremia intended to create a home lush with life, that is spacious and full of color and character.
Avid collectors of art and sculptural furniture, the clients wanted a space that is versatile enough to hold a rotating cast of unique works, and comfortable enough for a young and busy family. Patterned fabrics and finishes offer a variety of scale and unexpected whimsy, while classic details celebrate and add to the house’s inherent character. The result is a home that is mature, colorful and fun, without being too serious — an updated classic.
