Family Home by Windsor Smith Home in US
The homeowners were looking for a sophisticated but sparse European vibe. Before I started, it was a heavy Mediterranean house robbed of light. The design direction behind this project channeled a bohemian southern Italy. The overall aesthetic was inspired by comfort, tactile materials, natural materials used in a sparse and minimal way. I incorporated warm woods and metal plaster and honed marble surfaces all throughout.
