Whether Mappin & Webb makes watches has evolved over time. In the late 19th century, Mappin & Webb began producing a line of timepieces. The company even supplied soldiers in the 1898 Battle of Omdurman with its acclaimed Campaign watch. After World War II, the luxury silversmith gradually phased out its watch production.
